COHOES, NY; – Prime Companies, one of the most comprehensive, privately-held real property services companies in Upstate New York, today announced the promotion of Michael Raymond to Chief Financial Officer at the firm’s headquarters in Cohoes, NY.
Raymond will oversee all aspects of the finance department, including budgeting, internal controls and monthly and annual financial reporting of the company’s complex portfolio of real estate brands.

Raymond has a robust background in financial management. Prior to joining Prime Companies, he worked for several financial firms in New York City, including Sandler O’Neil & Partners, Interstate Commodities and The Ayco Company, L.P.
In 2013, Raymond returned to the Capital Region and started working for Prime Companies as an associate, where he was responsible for supporting the development and acquisition of future investments and monitoring the company’s real estate portfolio.

Raymond holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in economics from Siena College, as well as a Master’s degree in financial analysis from Pace University School of Business in New York.
