Albany, N.Y.- Stuyvesant Plaza will usher in the most wonderful time of the year by welcoming shoppers to celebrate the season at the plaza’s annual Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Plaza patrons will enjoy spectacular holiday sales, savory samplings, and glittering gift ideas from the numerous shops and eateries at the Capital Region’s premiere lifestyle shopping and dining destination.
The Holiday Open House also marks the return of traditional holiday music, holiday lights and horse-drawn carriages from Saratoga Horse and Carriage. Plaza patrons are welcome to enjoy the complimentary seasonal carriage rides during the open house from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
“The Holiday Open House is a festive opportunity for gift seekers to kick off the season of giving with a look at hundreds of items for everyone on their list,” said Janet Kaplan, vice president of real estate for Stuyvesant Plaza. “We look forward to once again welcoming shoppers to stroll the plaza sidewalks as they get a head start on Black Friday while enjoying their favorite musical selection of holiday classics.”
Stuyvesant Plaza is conveniently located at the corner of Western Avenue (Route 20) and Fuller Road in Albany. Shopping hours for the holiday season begin Friday, November 29 and are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. From Monday, December 16 to Monday, December 23, the Plaza will open at 9 a.m. The Plaza will close at 5 p.m. on December 24 and is closed on Christmas Day.
