Flex ticket package provides ability to customize tournament experience at Times Union Center in Albany, NY, March 7-11
ALBANY, NY; – Flex ticket packages to the 2019 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships are currently on sale.
The popular basketball tournament, featuring Canisius, Fairfield, Iona, Manhattan, Marist, Monmouth, Niagara, Quinnipiac, Rider, Saint Peter’s, and Siena, will return to Times Union Center March 7 through 11.
Flex ticket packages include four tickets redeemable for any open seat during any session of the MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships, including both championship games. The tickets may be utilized for four seats to one session, one seat for four sessions, or any ensuing combination to enable fans to tailor the tournament experience to meet their needs.
“The flex ticket packages allow ticketholders to personalize their MAAC Basketball Championships experience in the way which best suits them,” said MAAC Commissioner Richard Ensor. “Fans have the option of using the tickets for a single game or may spread them out over multiple rounds to follow their team or see certain matchups throughout the entire tournament.”

Two sets of flex ticket packages, each comprised of four tickets, are available for this year’s tournament. The first package provides access to any open seat in the center sections during any session for $150. The second package provides access to any open seat in the lower level corners and end zones for $100.

All-session passes are also available for fans seeking admission to additional games in the MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships. All-session passes, which grant access to all games of the men’s and women’s tournament, are $97, $122, $167 and $227.
Fans are also invited to celebrate the return of the MAAC Championships to downtown Albany at the fourth annual Hannaford MAAC-n-Cheese Fest on Monday, March 11 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Albany Capital Center. The fan festival, which invites fans to enjoy mac-n-cheese tastings from local restaurants and craft beer samplings from regional breweries, will take place on Championship Monday following the Women’s Basketball Championship game at 2:30 p.m. and prior to the Men’s Basketball Championship game which tips off at 9 p.m.
