ALBANY, NY; September 27, 2019 – Dunkin’ today celebrated the upcoming National Coffee Day by donating 500 pounds of coffee to Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.

The donation from Dunkin’ comes in celebration of National Coffee Day and in conjunction with the annual Goals for Coffee charitable campaign with RPI Hockey. Dunkin’ pledges to donate one pound of coffee for every goal scored at home by the Engineers during the season.

“We are so grateful for our ongoing partnership with Dunkin’,” said Mark Quandt, Executive Director. “Coffee is a highly requested item among our member food pantries, kitchens, and shelters and they will be excited to receive it.”

The Regional Food Bank works to alleviate hunger and prevent food waste by accepting large donations of food from the food industry and distributing those donations to charitable agencies that feed hungry people like food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters. The food provided by the Regional Food Bank helps to feed over 40,000 people each week.
