ALBANY, New York – BST & Co. CPAs, LLP, one of the Capital Region’s leading financial and management consulting firms, will host a webinar on how to best evaluate and maintain internal accounting controls in a remote environment on Wednesday, September 23 at 11:30 a.m.
During the webinar, BST & Co. Partners Kristen Berdar and Brendan Kennedy will discuss how effective internal accounting controls can reduce the risk of asset loss and ensure financial operations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Berdar and Kennedy will also discuss how small businesses can overcome improper internal controls and implement new strategies.
“It’s critical that businesses of all shapes and sizes have strong internal accounting controls,” said Berdar. “With many businesses still working remotely, communication between departments is not as streamlined as it may be while actually in the office. Berdar has more than 25 years of experience in finance and accounting, including serving as a consultant for wholesale distribution, professional services and retail companies.
