Pioneers soccer forward is a Team Dunkin’ 2023 athlete
Surprise school visit coincides with National Girls & Women in Sports Day
UTICA, N.Y. – Dunkin’ today celebrated its collegiate name, image and likeness (NIL) partnership with Utica University soccer star Julianna Beaulieu. Beaulieu served guests at the Dunkin’ restaurant at 1133 Mohawk Street in Utica by filling drive-thru orders and working the front counter, and then made a surprise visit to Varsity and Junior Varsity Girls’ Soccer players at Proctor High School in honor of National Girls & Women in Sports Day.
National Girls & Women in Sports Day, annually celebrated on Feb. 1, recognizes the confidence, strength and character girls and women gain through sports participation, which are fundamental to becoming strong leaders in both sports and life. Beaulieu used her visit to Proctor High School to encourage the next generation of female soccer players to continue their athletic careers, as well as share some special treats from Dunkin’.
Beaulieu is a member of Team Dunkin’, the brand’s recruiting class of 31 exceptional student-athletes from colleges and universities nationwide. Team Dunkin’ athletes are being honored by having their favorite Dunkin’ drink featured at participating Dunkin’ locations in their college town: Beaulieu’s go-to Dunkin’ order is a medium Vanilla Latte with almond milk and an extra pump of vanilla.
Beaulieu is a Southwick, Mass. native and junior forward at Utica University who appeared in 20 games during the 2022 season, scoring seven goals and assisting in four others.
As part of Dunkin’s collegiate NIL partnerships, Beaulieu and her fellow student-athletes, representing 13 teams from colleges and universities across the country, will be sharing their experiences on social media and enjoying exclusive Team Dunkin’ merch to sport on and off the field.
In addition to Beaulieu, Team Dunkin’s class of 2023 includes upstate New York college sports stars Anna Sprys of the Binghamton University Women’s Volleyball Team; Joseph Girard III of the Syracuse University Men’s Basketball Team; and Andrew Platek of the Siena College Men’s Basketball Team.
The newest Team Dunkin’ class has grown from the first two student-athletes announced in February 2022 to a roster of 31 student-athletes and counting, along with the entire women’s Northwestern University field hockey team.
These powerhouse athletes, like so many college students, run on Dunkin’ and Dunkin’ is here to energize a growing roster of students through wins, losses and the daily grind of being a college athlete.
