Members of the local community and Dunkin’ fans alike poured into Dunkin’s newly remodeled next generation restaurant at 245-01 Francis Lewis Boulevard in Rosedale on Thursday, July 25 as part of its grand reopening ceremony.
Dunkin’ franchisee Scott Campbell of Metro Franchising commemorated the occasion with a $2,500 donation to help defray the costs of the medical expenses for Bradley Arpin. Arpin, who was born prematurely at nearly 28 weeks on July 7 weighing just 2.3 pounds, is currently in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA.
“We are honored to show our support for the Arpin family by aiding in Bradley’s recovery and contributing towards travel and medical expenses,” said Campbell. “This donation hits close to home and will go a long way to assist a family in need.”
The celebration also included Queens Community Board 13 Chair Bryan Block and members of the New York Police Department’s 105th Precinct, who joined Dunkin’ representatives for a commemorative ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The morning featured all guests receiving a free medium hot or iced coffee and a donut, while many other Dunkin’ Rewards members spun the Dunkin’ prize wheel for free Dunkin’ merchandise.
