Grand opening celebration to be held on May 17
AMHERST, New York; — Dunkin’ Donuts, America’s all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods, today announced the opening of its newest Buffalo-area restaurant at 1280 Sweet Home Road in Amherst, NY. A grand opening celebration offering gift baskets, giveaways and prizes for guests will be held on Saturday, May 17 from 2 to 4 p.m.
The Amherst restaurant is located near the University at Buffalo North Campus in the popular student lifestyle district, which includes hundreds of off-campus housing units and numerous retail stores. The new restaurant, which includes soft couches, free Wi-Fi, and additional USB and electrical outlets, is an ideal location for student gatherings, meetings and study groups.
“Dunkin’ Donuts is one of the world’s leading brands and a favorite in the greater Buffalo area,” said Tim Cloe, Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee. “We are proud to serve Amherst residents and the students, faculty and staff at the University at Buffalo. Our unique interior layout has soft quiet areas as well as multiple areas to congregate and watch TV while enjoying Dunkin Donuts food and beverages.
The Amherst restaurant incorporates the brand’s new “Fresh Brew Cappuccino Blend” design featuring a contemporary layout, color scheme, environmentally friendly LED lighting, and other modern conveniences, including hardwood flooring and digital menu boards. It also has a drive-thru for on-the-go guests.
The Amherst Dunkin’ Donuts is 1,800 square feet and is open daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. It has seating for 20 guests and employs 25 crew members.
The opening brings the total number of Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in Western New York to 111.
