DUNKIN’® AND MAKE-A-WISH® CENTRAL NEW YORK CELEBRATE LAUNCH OF ANNUAL CHARITABLE CAMPAIGN

Dunkin’ and Make-A-Wish Central New York today celebrated more than a decade of partnership as they kicked off their annual Make-A-Wish Donut campaign. This year is the 12th anniversary of the initiative, which symbolizes the continuation of a community program designed to help make the wishes of local children come true.

Now through September 15, guests who donate $1 to Make-A-Wish at participating Dunkin’ restaurants in the Mohawk Valley will receive a free specially crafted Make-A-Wish Donut, while supplies last. All proceeds will benefit Make-A-Wish Central New York. The campaign has raised more than $825,000 since its inception in 2013.

“Dunkin’ is pleased to celebrate more than a decade of support for Make-A-Wish Central New York, a charity that works day-in and day-out to help make the wishes of local children come true,” said a Dunkin’ spokesperson. “I encourage everyone to enjoy a special treat while supporting an organization that is so important to the children and families in our community.”

The specialty donut, which is topped with white icing and blue sprinkles in honor of Make-A-Wish, will be available at participating Dunkin’ restaurants in the Mohawk Valley for a limited time.

“Celebrating the 12th anniversary of this remarkable campaign is truly inspiring. Our partnership with Dunkin’ has not only brought countless smiles but has also raised more than $825,000 to date—and the impact keeps growing. That translates to so many wishes granted for critically ill children across the Mohawk Valley,” said Make-A-Wish Central New York President & CEO Diane Kuppermann. “Dunkin’ guests eagerly anticipate this campaign each year, and so do we. As we like to say in our office, ‘Wishes run on Dunkin’!”

Make-A-Wish Central New York creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses throughout a 15-county region of New York State. The organization has granted nearly 2,500 wishes since its inception in 1985.
