Residents who live and work in the Queens neighborhood of Kew Gardens Hills can now experience Dunkin’s next generation store design at 79-27 Main Street.
To celebrate the grand reopening, Dunkin’ is offering Free Coffee for a Year to the first 30 guests in line at the restaurant at 79-27 Main Street in Kew Gardens Hills beginning at 9 a.m. on Thursday, December 12. Free Coffee for a Year Giveaway recipients receive a coupon book containing four free medium hot or iced coffee coupons per month for 14 months, good only at 79-27 Main Street.
WNEW Jewish Radio will be on-site at the Kew Gardens Hills Dunkin’, which is a kosher store, for a live broadcast between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Additionally, all guests will be able to spin a prize wheel for free Dunkin’ merchandise from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., while supplies last.
Dunkin’ franchisee Scott Campbell will commemorate the occasion with a pair of donations to local community organizations Tomchei Shabbos of Queens and Queens Hatzolah. Tomchei Shabbos of Queens will receive $6,000, in conjunction with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, and Queens Hatzolah will receive $3,000.
For more than 30 years, Tomchei Shabbos of Queens has provided food packages on a weekly basis to families and individuals in need. Meanwhile, Queens Hatzolah, founded in 1978, maintains a fleet of 13 ambulances for volunteer EMTs and paramedics to serve thousands of residents, responding to more than 7,000 calls annually.
A check presentation to Tomchei Shabbos of Queens and Queens Hatzolah will culminate in a grand reopening ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m.
The 1,850-square-foot Dunkin’ employs 35 crew members and is open daily from 5 a.m. until 10 p.m. The Kew Gardens Hills Dunkin’ features the brand’s new restaurant design with a modern atmosphere, innovative technologies and exciting elements, including:
- Modern Design: The openness, colors and materials used in the design help to create an approachable, positive and energetic environment.
- Premium Pours: Dunkin’s signature cold beverages are now available through an innovative tap system serving eight consistently cold beverages such as coffees, iced teas, cold brew coffee and nitro infused cold brew coffee. Crew members will also use top-quality flavor-maximizing espresso machines to make hand-crafted drinks to order.
- Dunkin’ on Demand: With fully-integrated digital kiosks coming in the near future, guests will be able to choose to order with or without the help of a crew member. Dunkin’ has also introduced an area dedicated to mobile pickups, so that members of the Dunkin’ Rewards program who order ahead via Dunkin’s Mobile App can get in and out of the restaurant faster than ever before.
