Members of the local community and Dunkin’ fans alike poured into Dunkin’s newly remodeled next generation restaurant at Newport Centre Mall in Jersey City on Thursday, December 5 as part of its grand reopening ceremony.
Dunkin’ franchisee Archwood Foods LLC commemorated the occasion with a $1,500 donation to New City Kids. New City Kids offers faith-based, after-school programming for local youth from under-resourced communities.
“New City Kids has been a part of the Jersey City community for 30 years, and we have depended upon partnerships such as this to help further our mission of loving kids for change,” said New City Kids Regional Partnerships Director Matthew Smith. “We very much appreciate the donation and generosity from Archwood Foods LLC and Dunkin’, which will allow us to further education, arts and the support of youth throughout the city.”
Representatives from the Newport Centre Mall and Simon Malls also joined the celebration and participated in a commemorative ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The celebration featured the first 100 Dunkin’ Rewards members in line at noon receiving one free medium hot or iced coffee for 100 consecutive days on the Dunkin’ App, while many other Rewards members spun the Dunkin’ prize wheel for free Dunkin’ merchandise.
The newly remodeled, 1,296 square-foot Dunkin’ employs 10 crew members and is open daily from 5 a.m. until 9 p.m.
