While February may be the shortest month, it features two of the biggest days of the year less than one week apart which is a ready-made recipe for Cardona’s Market and its catering offerings. Whether fans are gearing up for the Big Game or celebrating Cupid’s appointed holiday, Cardona’s Market features take-away menus with the winning formula.
The family-owned, Italian specialty grocery is preparing for the Big Game on Sunday, Feb. 9, with a Super-Sized catering menu boasting a Build-Your-Own (BYO) Meatball/Sausage Parmigiana Sub Package; Specialty Chicken Cutlet Platter; and Specialty Vegetarian Sub Platter. Each package serves eight to 10 people.
On Cupid’s favorite day, packages include a Cardona’s Surf and Turf Dinner for two, featuring braised short ribs, homemade crab cakes with roasted red pepper remoulade, creamy polenta, roasted green beans, nut and berries salad, chocolate espresso torte, red velvet torte, chocolate-dipped strawberries and fresh whipped cream. The fine dining at home option is available for the all-inclusive price of $115.
To add to the love, guests can enter to win a special Valentine’s Day package at any of Cardona’s three market locations. The Cardona’s sweetheart sweepstakes includes: Cardona’s Surf and Turf Dinner for two; a pair of tickets to the Siena Men’s Basketball matchup against Marist on Valentine’s Day; and a handcrafted petite balloon bouquet from The Balloonary. Entries will be accepted through Feb. 12 with the winner announced later that day.
