BST & Co. CPAs, LLP, one of the Capital Region’s leading accounting and management consulting firms, today announced a pair of promotions and a new hire within its Audit and Accounting and Tax divisions.
Trevor Carroll has been named Manager in BST’s Audit and Accounting Division; Nick Murabito has been named Manager in the Tax Division; and Amanda Lewis, JD, has joined the firm as Senior Manager in its Tax Division.

Carroll, a certified public accountant, has more than four years of experience in BST’s Audit and Accounting Division, including two years within the Valuation, Forensic and Litigation Division. During his time at BST, he has developed expertise in financial investigatory methodologies. In his new role as manager, Carroll specializes in Government Accounting and oversees the planning, fieldwork and completion of audit processes. He earned a Master of Science Degree in Accounting from Siena College and joined BST in 2021.
Murabito has more than five years of experience as a Senior Tax Associate at BST with a focus on non-profit organizations and businesses. Prior to joining BST in 2022, he worked exclusively with individuals as well as nonprofits. In his new role as manager, he prepares and reviews federal and state tax returns, conducts tax research, interacts with clients, assists his team members and mentors and trains new associates. Murabito earned a Master of Science in Accounting from Siena College.
Lewis joins BST as a seasoned tax attorney with more than 12 years of experience in Gift, Trust and Estate Tax. While working for a global financial services bank, she gained extensive knowledge in these areas preparing and reviewing complex Gift, Trust and Estate Tax returns for high-net-worth individuals. Most recently, she worked as a manager in Gift and Trust Tax at a big four accounting firm. Prior to her work in compliance, Lewis spent several years at a tax-focused law firm in Manhattan, assisting clients with individual and small business needs in the areas of tax planning, estate planning, real estate, and tax controversy matters, among others.
In her new role with BST, Lewis will assist clients with Gift, Trust, and Estate tax compliance, tax controversy matters and general tax planning needs. Lewis graduated with a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law and is a licensed attorney in New York State.
