Stuyvesant Plaza, the Capital Region’s premier open-air shopping and dining destination, today announced the grand re-opening of Peaches Café following a remodeling project several months in the making.
Located on the north side of the Plaza next to Chipotle and soon-to-be Anthropologie, Peaches Café will celebrate the unveiling of its makeover during its grand reopening on Monday, April 21 beginning at 8 a.m.
“We are excited to join Peaches Café for the highly anticipated reveal of its interior and exterior refresh on April 21,” said Stuyvesant Plaza General Manager Rachel Ferluge. “This Plaza staple has been serving a delectable variety of comfort food for more than four decades, and while its appearance has been beautifully updated, it still embodies the same warmth and familiarity our guests have always loved. We’re confident the new look will be warmly welcomed by the community.”
Peaches Café initially opened in 1982 as an ice cream shop that also served fresh waffles and sandwiches. It quickly transformed into a full-service restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating featuring breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. Peaches Café currently offers an ever-changing assortment of some of the Capital District’s finest desserts. The eatery is open Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. – 8 pm., and Sundays 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Full menu offerings, classics and new additions, can be found on their website.
As Peaches Café observes its 43rd year at Stuyvesant Plaza with a refreshed look, it is joined by recent newcomers to the Plaza which include vineyard vines, a popular retailer featuring apparel and accessories for men, women, and children, including performance wear, comfortable layers, and swimwear; Athleta, an environmentally conscious women and girls’ athletic wear shop; Simone’s Kitchen, a local, fast-casual, modern Mediterranean restaurant; and Union Hall Supply Co., a local men’s boutique clothing retailer selling brands such as Rails, Marine Layer and Faherty.
