Home opener set for Saturday, October 23 at Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls
Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, the Capital Region’s only professional hockey team, will be offering fans $10 tickets to the upcoming home opener during a Flash Sale starting on Friday, October 1 at 10 a.m.
The $10 tickets will be available for select seats through Saturday, October 2 at 10 a.m. or while supplies last. The tickets will be available for purchase online at ECHLThunder.com.
The team’s home opener will take place on Saturday, October 23 at the Cool Insuring Arena in downtown Glens Falls. The Thunder will host the Newfoundland Growlers at 7 p.m.
There will be a youth jersey giveaway for the first 1,000 children aged 14 and under attending the season opener, courtesy of Glens Falls Hospital.
“We are excited to kick-off the hockey season by offering fans and families a special discount to enjoy the excitement of Adirondack Thunder hockey on Opening Night,” said Adirondack Thunder President Jeff Mead. “We look forward to celebrating the return of professional hockey to the Capital Region and giving our fans plenty to cheer about at Cool Insuring Arena.”
The Thunder are giving hockey fans the opportunity to rise up by offering the Sky Zone 4-Pack for Thunder Opening Night which includes four tickets, four souvenir cups and two Sky Zone jump passes. The package is available for $69 and may be purchased at the SeatGeek Box Office at Cool Insuring Arena or online at ECHLThunder.com.
The first 3,000 fans with paid admission on opening night will also receive a free light up glow stick, courtesy of Sky Zone.
The Thunder, a proud affiliate of the National Hockey League’s New Jersey Devils, will play 36 games at home during the 2021-22 regular season which concludes on Sunday, April 17.
