Lisa M. Smith, CPA
ALBANY, New York, – BST & Co., LLP, one of the Capital Region’s leading financial and management consulting firms, today announced that Lisa M. Smith, CPA, has rejoined the firm as a partner.
Smith brings more than 25 years of diverse accounting, auditing, risk assessment and internal control experience to BST. Prior to re-joining BST, she held leadership positions with General Electric; Higher Education Services Corporation; Trans World Entertainment; and Capital Communications Federal Credit Union.
In her current role, Smith serves various industries, including employee benefit plans; energy distribution; and manufacturing and retail distribution. She is also a member of the firm’s Pension Audit Services Group.

Smith is a graduate of Siena College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She also holds a master’s in business administration from the University of Phoenix. Smith is a Certified “Six Sigma Black Belt,” a nationally-recognized certification in Quality Methodology.
Smith is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants; and is a member of the board of directors and treasurer of the Arts Center of the Capital Region.
