ALBANY, New York, – BST & Co., LLP, one of the Capital Region’s leading financial and management consulting firms, today announced that Robert A. Canterbury has been appointed senior advisor of the wealth management division.
Canterbury brings nearly three decades of wealth management experience to BST. Prior to joining the firm, he served as Vice President of Foundational Counseling at The Ayco Company, A Goldman Sachs Company, where he conducted more than 25,000 financial planning seminars for large companies and corporations on topics including medical plan options, health savings accounts, and social security strategies.
As an advisor at BST, Canterbury’s primary focus is to assist clients with investment planning, risk analysis, appropriate asset allocation, investment selection and ongoing evaluation. He also advises clients in the areas of cash flow, and retirement, insurance and estate planning, as well as business succession planning. Additionally, he is available to provide personal planning for executive-level clients, and individual retirement planning for all levels.

Canterbury earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from Siena College. He is a Certified Financial Planner and holds NASD Series 7, 65 and 63 licenses, as well as New York State Life and Health. He is a resident of Clifton Park.
