GREEN ISLAND, NY; – Coldwell Banker Prime Properties will host a drive to collect care package items for deployed troops in partnership with the Adopt A US Soldier “Project Frontline” program during the month of October.
Items will be collected in drop boxes at Coldwell Banker Prime Properties offices throughout the Capital Region. The care packages will be delivered to approximately 800 soldiers in two units stationed overseas in November.
“Coldwell Banker Prime Properties is honored to recognize the service and sacrifice of the men and women of the United States military,” said Mark Phoenix, Chief Operating Officer of Coldwell Banker Prime Properties. “We encourage Capital Region residents to join us in providing our service members with a sense of home and comfort through this collection drive.”
Suggested donation items include personal articles such as new socks, lip balm, sunscreen, razors and hand sanitizer; non-perishable snacks such as beef jerky, trail mix and nuts; and downtime activities such as board games and books. Donors are also encouraged to contribute hand-written letters to soldiers, stuffed toys and blank greeting cards for soldiers to send home to family and friends.
