Dunkin’ today announced that the 2024 edition of its annual Make-A-Wish Donut charitable campaign raised $115,176 for Make-A-Wish chapters across New York State, including $21,249 for Make-A-Wish Northeast New York. This year marked the debut of the campaign in the Capital Region.
From Sept. 4 through Sept. 15, guests who donated $1 to Make-A-Wish at participating Dunkin’ restaurants in the Capital Region received a special Make-A-Wish Donut as a thank you for their generosity. The Make-A-Wish Donut campaign expanded to Dunkin’ restaurants in the Capital Region after more than a decade of success in partnership with Dunkin’ in Central New York and the Southern Tier.
“Thanks to the generosity of our franchisees, Dunkin’ was honored to support Make-A-Wish Northeast New York through our annual Make-A-Wish Donut campaign,” said Dunkin’ Field Marketing Director Michelle McDonough. “Make-A-Wish is so important to the children and families in our community, and we were pleased to provide Capital Region residents with a special treat in support of such a great cause. We would like to thank everyone who joined us to make this year’s Make-A-Wish Donut campaign such a success.”
“We’re grateful to Dunkin’ for bringing the Make-A-Wish Donut campaign to Northeast New York for the first time this year,” said Make-A-Wish Northeast New York President and CEO James Hathaway. “Thank you to the staff and guests of over 100 Dunkin’ restaurants for participating in this inaugural event. You have made a big difference in the lives of children facing critical illnesses in Northeast New York. We look forward to continuing this collaboration for years to come.”
