Dunkin’ restaurant in Edgewater Harbor commemorates grand reopening with donation to Community FoodBank of New Jersey

Members of the local community and Dunkin’ fans alike poured into Dunkin’s newly remodeled next generation restaurant at 2 Main Street in Edgewater Harbor on Thursday, September 12 as part of its grand reopening ceremony.

Dunkin’ franchisees Ken and Amy Baker commemorated the occasion with a $3,000 donation to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey in conjunction with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. The Community FoodBank of New Jersey is a registered nonprofit dedicated to helping over 500,000 residents fight food insecurity in New Jersey.

“We are grateful for Dunkin’s continued partnership,” said Elizabeth McCarthy, President & CEO of the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. “This latest contribution is enough to support 9,000 meals for our New Jersey neighbors in need.”

The celebration also included a commemorative ribbon-cutting ceremony with Ken and Amy Baker, in addition to representatives from Community FoodBank of New Jersey and Dunkin’.

The morning featured the first 100 Dunkin’ Rewards members in line at 9 a.m. receiving one free medium hot or iced coffee for 100 consecutive days on the Dunkin’ App, while many other Rewards members spun the Dunkin’ prize wheel for free Dunkin’ merchandise.

The 1,500 square-foot newly remodeled Dunkin’ employs eight crew members and is open daily from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m.
