Dunkin’ restaurant in Guttenberg commemorates grand reopening with donation to Waye D. Zitt, Jr. Civic Association

Members of the local community and Dunkin’ fans alike poured into Dunkin’s newly remodeled next generation restaurant at 7101 Kennedy Blvd. East in Guttenberg on October 25 as part of its grand reopening.

Dunkin’ franchisee The Shree Group commemorated the grand reopening with a $1,000 donation to the Wayne D. Zitt, Jr. Civic Association. The Wayne D. Zitt, Jr. Civic Association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide essential services for Guttenberg residents who may not have access to resources that would position them to live secure, healthy, and fulfilling lives.

“On behalf of the town of Guttenberg and the Wayne D. Zitt Jr. Civic Association, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to The Shree Group and Dunkin’ for their generous donation and continued partnership,” said Guttenberg Mayor Wayne D. Zitt, Jr. “Their support has made a meaningful impact in our community, and we deeply appreciate the commitment to helping us serve our residents. Thank you for being a valued partner in making Guttenberg a better place for all!”

The celebration included Guttenberg Mayor Wayne D. Zitt, Jr.; Guttenberg Councilman John Habermann; Guttenberg Councilman Richard Delafuente; Guttenberg Councilwoman Monica Fundora; and New Jersey State Assemblyman Julio Marenco, who took part in a commemorative ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The morning featured the first 100 guests in line at 9 a.m. receiving a coupon book containing four free medium hot or iced coffee coupons per month for 14 months as part of Dunkin’s Free Coffee for a Year giveaway, while many other Dunkin’ Rewards members spun the Dunkin’ prize wheel for free Dunkin’ merchandise.

The 400-square-foot Dunkin’ employs 10 crew members and is open daily from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
