Members of the local community and Dunkin’ fans alike poured into Dunkin’s newly remodeled next generation restaurant at 725 State Route 440 in Jersey City on Thursday, November 7 as part of its grand reopening ceremony.
Dunkin’ franchisee Brothers L Inc. commemorated the occasion with a $1,500 charitable donation to New City Kids. New City Kids offers faith-based, after-school programming for local youth from under-resourced communities.
“Throughout New City Kids’ 30-year history, our success has depended on partnering with the community,” said New City Kids Jersey City Executive Director Shaun Hopkins. “We appreciate this generous gift from Brothers L Inc. and Dunkin’. This contribution will play an important role in enhancing programs that inspire, educate, and equip Jersey City youth for success. Together, we’re making a difference.”
The morning featured the first 100 Dunkin’ Rewards members in line at 9 a.m. receiving one free medium hot or iced coffee for 100 consecutive days on the Dunkin’ App, while many other Rewards members spun the Dunkin’ prize wheel for free Dunkin’ merchandise.
The newly remodeled, 3,000 square-foot Dunkin’ employs 18 crew members and is open 24 hours per-day.
