Members of the local community and Dunkin’ fans alike poured into Dunkin’s newly remodeled next generation restaurant at 107 East Harford Street on Friday, June 21 as part of its grand reopening ceremony.
Dunkin’ franchisee Mittal Patel, of Dunkin’ franchise network MP Donuts, commemorated the occasion with a $3,000 donation to Make-A-Wish of Northeastern Pennsylvania in conjunction with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. Make-A-Wish of Northeastern Pennsylvania is a nonprofit corporation with the mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
“Make-A-Wish is delighted to have the support of Mittal Patel and the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation,” said Make-A-Wish Regional Manager Maggie O’Brien. “The proceeds from this generous donation will go directly to help granting the wish of a child who is living with a life-threatening medical condition in the Greater Milford area.”
The celebration also included Milford Borough Council Vice President Maria Farrell and Secretary/Treasurer Francesca Lombardo, who joined Dunkin’ representatives for a commemorative ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The morning featured the first 100 guests in line at 9 a.m. receiving one free medium hot or iced coffee for 100 consecutive days on the Dunkin’ Rewards App as part of Dunkin’s Free Coffee for 100 Days giveaway, while many other Dunkin’ Rewards members spun the Dunkin’ prize wheel for free Dunkin’ merchandise.
The 2,000 square-foot newly remodeled Dunkin’ employs 16 crew members and is open daily from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.
