Members of the local community and Dunkin’ fans alike poured into Dunkin’s newly remodeled next generation restaurant at 6903 Kennedy Blvd. in North Bergen on September 18 as part of its grand reopening.
Dunkin’ franchisee SRGM commemorated the grand reopening with a $2,000 donation to the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. Founded in 2006, the Joy in Childhood Foundation is an independent nonprofit organization powered by Dunkin’ and the generosity of their franchisees, partners, employees and guests. The mission of the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation is to provide the simple joys of childhood to kids battling hunger or illness.
The celebration also included North Bergen Mayor Nicholas J. Sacco; North Bergen Township Commissioners Claudia Rodriguez, Allen Pascual, Anthony P. Vainieri, Jr. and Hugo Cabrera; and New Jersey State Assemblyman Julio Marenco, who took part in a commemorative ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The morning featured the first 100 guests in line at 9 a.m. receiving a coupon book containing four free medium hot or iced coffee coupons per month for 14 months as part of Dunkin’s Free Coffee for a Year giveaway, while many other Dunkin’ Rewards members spun the Dunkin’ prize wheel for free Dunkin’ merchandise.
The 1,500-square-foot Dunkin’ employs 15 crew members and is open daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.
