Ed Lewi Associates (ELA) is a full-service marketing, public relations and special events firm based in New York’s Capital Region and serving clients throughout New York State and New England.
Ed Lewi Associates offers a myriad of standard and progressive public relations and marketing services, including: media relations and publicity support; media buying and placement; advertising consulting; special event coordination and management; social media; promotional development and execution; crisis communications; sponsorship procurement and fulfillment; and general consulting.
Founded by the visionary public relations team of Ed and Maureen Lewi, Ed Lewi Associates incorporated in 1975. The firm catapulted to success and wide acclaim when it secured the public relations contract for the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid. That signature “Miracle on Ice” moment soon sparked a series of new adventures for the marketing and public relations agency as representatives to the United States Figure Skating Association, international cycling championships and Saratoga Race Course.
Now under the ownership of Mark Bardack, who purchased the business from Ed and Maureen in April 2010 after serving as vice president for more than 12 years, ELA continues to provide a high standard of service to its diverse client list.
While maintaining its core focus on providing outstanding media relations results for organizations, ELA has created a niche for itself by developing innovative marketing partnerships and programs for clients. With its headquarters halfway between the state capital of Albany and the world renowned city of Saratoga Springs, the agency represents clients in markets that stretch from western New York to the Hudson Valley to Boston, Burlington and all points in between.
ELA is comprised of award-winning communications consultants with extensive backgrounds in print and broadcast journalism, social media, event marketing, and advertising. The ELA team has nearly a century of combined experience.
