Winning couple to be announced at the all-new “Experience the Difference” Wedding Event by Mazzone Hospitality on March 19 at the Albany Capital Center
CLIFTON PARK, New York;– Mazzone Hospitality will make the trip down the aisle that much more memorable for one local pair by providing them with a complimentary wedding package as part of the new “Capital Region Couple of the Year” campaign.
The chosen couple will win the complete wedding works from Mazzone Hospitality, including reception, photographer, florist and music, as well as a series of other traditional nuptial services, valued at approximately $100,000.
Mazzone Hospitality will document the “Capital Region Couple of the Year” throughout their planning process and invite the community and fellow engaged couples to follow their progress and collect tips and ideas for their own wedding.

The highlight of the prize package will be a complete wedding reception, including food and beverage, at the Mazzone Hospitality venue of the couple’s choice: the Hall of Springs and Saratoga National Golf Club in Saratoga Springs; Glen Sanders Mansion in Scotia; 90 State Events, 677 Prime Event Space and Cornerstone at the Plaza in Albany; Key Hall at Proctors in Schenectady; and the Hilton Garden Inn in Clifton Park.
The winning couple will also receive services from some of the Capital Region’s most well-known wedding vendors, including: videography and photography from The Harris Company; floral design from Anthology Studios; bridal gown and bridal party attire from Ferri Formals and Tuxego; and bridal suite accommodations from the Pavilion Grand Hotel, amongst other items.
Additionally, Mazzone Hospitality will host the couple’s engagement party; bridal shower; bachelorette party; and rehearsal dinner as part of their prize winnings.
The “Capital Region Couple of the Year” winner will be officially announced during the all-new “Experience the Difference” Wedding Event by Mazzone Hospitality at the Albany Capital Center on Sunday, March 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The “Experience the Difference” Wedding Event by Mazzone Hospitality is a fully-immersive event which will bring to life numerous wedding scenarios featuring the hottest trends, most unique ideas and local vendors all in one location for brides and grooms.
Individuals interested in being named “Capital Region Couple of the Year” are directed to submit a video or photo story online for themselves or a deserving couple at www.MazzoneHospitality.com/CoupleoftheYear through Saturday, March 4. The top 10 submissions will be selected as finalists, and invited to in-person interviews at the Mazzone Hospitality headquarters in Clifton Park from March 6 through 10.
The top 10 finalists must be present at the “Experience the Difference” wedding event on Sunday, March 19 to win; and will be chosen based on the most deserving and engaging submission and interview.
Eligible couples will be newly engaged and in the beginning of their planning process; 21 years of age or older; and residents of counties between the Adirondacks and the Hudson Valley. The wedding must take place in January, February or March of 2018 at an exclusive Mazzone Hospitality property.
