NYRA to offer special Sunday ticket packages

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) today announced special savings on select ticket packages for each remaining Sunday of the Saratoga summer meet. The various packages are available to fans for Aug. 4, 11, 18, 25 and Sept. 1. The summer meet concludes on Monday, Sept. 2.

Beginning this Sunday, Aug. 4, fans can choose from the following packages:

  • $25 Sunday Saver Pass, valid for general admission for each of the five remaining Sundays. Standard daily admission is $10 on race day for a savings of up to 50 percent.
  • $99 Sunday Saver Family 4-Pack, which includes four grandstand reserved seats, four admissions, four Post Parade programs and $40 in loaded value that may be redeemed at select on-track concessions.
  • $44 Surfside Sunday 4-Pack, which includes four general admission tickets and four Surfside canned cocktails; or the $84 Surfside Sunday 4-Pack, which includes four grandstand reserved seats and four Surfside canned cocktails. Surfside ready-to-drink cocktails are available at the Surfside Gazebo, Jim Dandy Bar, Surfside portable bar on the second level of the Grandstand and at other select bars and concessions. This package is available to fans 21 years of age and older.

“Sundays are a great day to enjoy the track, especially for families,” said Kevin Quinn, NYRA Vice President of Sales and Hospitality. “We’re happy to offer special discounts and value deals during the second half of the summer meet to encourage fans to experience and enjoy the excitement of Saratoga.”

Each Sunday features Family Sundays, the popular event which includes free activities, games, attractions and educational experiences from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Family Zone, located inside Gate A near the Saratoga Race Course Box Office.

Fans can also enjoy the opportunity to pet and take photos with a retired thoroughbred each Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. at Berkshire Bank Horse Sense. The attraction is located inside Gate A and is presented by Berkshire Bank.

The penultimate Sunday of the meet, Aug. 25, is New York Showcase Day, dedicated exclusively to New York-breds with six stakes worth a combined $1.25 million in purses.

The final Sunday will feature a Saratoga windbreaker premium giveaway, free with paid admission, while supplies last. Presented by NYRA Bets, this jacket will be available in two adult sizes: medium and extra-large.

Highlighted by the 155th edition of the Grade 1, $1.25 million DraftKings Travers on Aug. 24 and the Grade 1, $1 million Whitney on Aug. 3, the 2024 summer meet at historic Saratoga Race Course continues through Monday, Sept. 2.
