SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Following its successful launch at Belmont Park during the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival, the New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) announced that its new app, NYRA XP, will for the first time be available to fans at Saratoga Race Course during the 2017 summer meet.
NYRA XP is the latest result of NYRA’s ongoing commitment to invest in mobile technology to enhance the guest experience with the most advanced applications in thoroughbred racing. In support of NYRA’s popular apps, Wi-Fi capacity has been doubled at the Spa to make the track an industry leader in connectivity.
With NYRA XP, guests can also take advantage of a host of new services from purchasing and scanning tickets, to locating their seats, pinning their car location, and finding the best route to concession stands, bathrooms or an ATM. Users can also contact guest services or report a problem using the app.
Throughout the meet, NYRA XP will be rolling out several more features, including the ability to order food from concession stands, and then pick it up instead of having to wait in line.
“NYRA XP is the latest in a series of user-friendly apps and mobile friendly websites launched by NYRA to enhance the overall fan experience and make a day at the racetrack as enjoyable as possible. With NYRA XP, fans basically have a remote control for navigating their day at Saratoga Race Course,” said Lynn LaRocca, Sr. Vice President and Chief Experience Officer.
NYRA XP also seamlessly integrates with the popular NYRA Bets and NYRA Now apps, allowing guests to easily place bets or view cameras from around the track, watch replays or view live NYRA broadcasts.
NYRA XP is available for free download in iOS (Apple) and Android (Google Play) stores.
