Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Union College men’s and women’s hockey teams will face off during the sixth annual Mayor’s Cup at the Times Union Center on Saturday, January 27
LATHAM, NEW YORK; – The men’s and women’s hockey coaches from RPI and Union College made a special visit to Dunkin’ Donuts to surprise guests by filling orders at a local Dunkin’ Donuts drive-thru and handing out prizes and tickets for the upcoming Mayor’s Cup game.
The special visit came just two days before the sixth annual Mayor’s Cup hockey game at the Times Union Center on Saturday, January 27. This year marks the first doubleheader Mayor’s Cup, with the women’s teams taking the ice at 3 p.m. and the men’s teams going head-to-head at 6 p.m.
The special appearance by all four coaches is an extension of the partnership between Dunkin’ Donuts, RPI Hockey and Union College Hockey. Dunkin’ Donuts is the official coffee of the Engineers and Dutchmen and a proud supporter of RPI and Union College Athletics.
