SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) will host its final job fair for the 2015 summer meet at Saratoga Race Course, which will run from Friday, July 24 through Monday, September 7.
The job fair will be held at Saratoga Race Course on the Clubhouse porch on Saturday, July 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Opportunities are available for: betting clerks, cleaners, cooks, concession supervisors, food service helpers, general labor, parking attendants, porters and barbacks, retail clerks, security, turf work, buffet/utility workers, bussers, and whitecaps/ushers.
Positions are available with NYRA, Centerplate, Union Square Events, The Forum Group and American Maintenance.
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age with New York State Certified Working Papers; prospective security guards, cashiers and betting clerks must be at least 18 years of age to apply. Betting clerks and cashiers must have significant cash handling experience. Security guards must have a high school degree or GED to apply. All applicants must bring a photo ID and social security card or I-9 alternative.
