Crosstown weekend showdown between rival colleges will take place at MVP Arena on Nov. 12 & UHY Center on Nov. 13
LATHAM, N.Y. – Siena Women’s Basketball Head Coach Jim Jabir and UAlbany Women’s Basketball Head Coach Colleen Mullen today made a special visit to a local Dunkin’ restaurant to surprise guests ahead of their Albany Cup matchup at the UHY Center on Sunday, Nov. 13.
Coach Jabir and Coach Mullen set aside their rivalry on the hardwood to spend the morning filling orders at the drive-thru and treating guests to game tickets and college memorabilia during the special visit to the Dunkin’ restaurant on New Loudon Road in Latham, NY.
The Capital Region’s two premiere women’s basketball teams will go head-to-head on Sunday, Nov. 13 at the UHY Center at 1 p.m. Tickets to may be purchased online at sienasaints.com/tickets.
The Siena and UAlbany men’s basketball teams will resume their battle for the Albany Cup, presented by MVP Health Care, on Saturday, November 12 at MVP Arena at 7:30 p.m. This will be the first time in five years that the Capital Region men’s basketball teams will meet as they rekindle their longstanding rivalry.
