LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Women’s Basketball is excited to offer a special ticket incentive to encourage fans attending this Saturday’s game to donate to the annual charitable Capital Region Toys for Tots campaign.
The Saints will celebrate the holiday season by teaming up with Capital Region Toys for Tots and the Marine Corps Reserve to collect gifts for children in need. The toy drive will be held at the UHY Center on Saturday, Dec. 3 when the Saints host Dartmouth at 2 PM, with doors opening at 1 PM.
Fans who bring a new, unwrapped toy to this Saturday’s game will receive a voucher for a $2 savings on tickets to the New Year’s Day game on Sunday, Jan. 1 when the Siena women host Canisius. Marine Corps Reserve volunteers with Toys for Tots will collect donations from the time doors open until halftime.
The Siena Men’s Basketball team will also host a Toys for Tots collection drive at its game on Friday, Dec. 2 against Canisius at MVP Arena at 7 p.m.
Capital Region Toys for Tots and the Marine Corps Reserve collect new, unwrapped toys each year in October, November and December. They distribute those toys as gifts to children in need across 14 upstate New York counties. In 2021, Capital Region Toys for Tots supported 237,000 children.
