STUYVESANT PLAZA ADDS SHAKE SHACK TO ITS EXPANDING MENU OF POPULAR RESTAURANTS

Stuyvesant Plaza, the Capital Region’s premiere open-air retail destination, today announced the addition of Shake Shack, the iconic burger restaurant that will occupy a portion of the property’s prominent corner building located just inside the Western Avenue entrance. Shake Shack’s arrival at Stuyvesant Plaza will mark its first year-round, full-scale Capital Region location.

“Shake Shack’s arrival in the Capital Region is a significant win for food lovers and the local dining scene,” said Stuyvesant Plaza General Manager Rachel Ferluge. “Our guests will surely be delighted to have Shake Shack conveniently accessible year-round where they can enjoy an irresistible menu of classic burgers, hot dogs, crinkle cut fries, frozen custards and hand-spun milkshakes. We are equally excited to announce that Shake Shack will occupy a portion of the highly visible corner section of our property that is befitting of its national acclaim.”

Internationally renowned for its made-to-order 100% Angus beef burgers, crispy chicken and Crinkle Cut fries, Shake Shack began as a hot dog cart more than two decades ago in New York City’s Madison Square Park with a mission to raise funds for a public art project. With its high-quality food at a great value, warm hospitality, and a commitment to crafting uplifting experiences, Shake Shack quickly became a cult-brand with widespread appeal. The eatery continues to enrich the communities it serves by forging meaningful partnerships, sourcing ingredients from local suppliers and hosting donation days for community nonprofits and school groups.

In addition to welcoming Shake Shack to Stuyvesant Plaza, other forthcoming new arrivals as previously announced include Anthropologie, FP Movement, Kendra Scott, and Rowan.

Newly opened at Stuyvesant Plaza include vineyard vines, a perfect place to find coastal-inspired attire for the whole family; Athleta, an environmentally conscious women and girls’ athletic wear shop; Simone’s Kitchen, a local, fast-casual, modern Mediterranean restaurant; and Union Hall Supply Co., a local men’s boutique clothing retailer.
