ALBANY, N.Y. – Stuyvesant Plaza today announced that Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza will open a new location at the outdoor lifestyle shopping center. The restaurant, which is expected to open in mid-November, will mark the second Capital Region location for the fast-casual, artisanal pizza eatery.
The 3,400 square foot restaurant will allow guests to create custom-built pizzas by choosing from a wide array of ingredients and toppings. The menu will also feature eight signature pizzas which guests can modify with their own choice of toppings at no extra cost. All pizzas are 11 inches and fast fired in 180 seconds.
Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza will take over the space formerly occupied by Coldwater Creek. Approximately 40 full and part-time employees will be hired to staff the operation. The restaurant will be owned and operated by NYVA Restaurant Group.
“Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza is a wonderful addition to the diverse array of stores and restaurants at Stuyvesant Plaza,” said Stuyvesant Plaza Vice President of Real Estate Janet Kaplan. “We are excited that our patrons can enjoy this new, unique and enjoyable dining experience this fall.”
“We are thrilled to join the Albany community with our upcoming location at Stuyvesant Plaza. Our guests will get to express their individuality by building their own artisanal pizzas,” said NYVA Restaurant Group Owner Michael Hoover. “Blaze is all about individuality, quality, speed and fire. Stuyvesant Plaza is a perfect fit for Blaze and we look forward to being a part of the community.”
The first Capital Region location for Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza is expected to open in September and will be located at Mohawk Commons shopping center in Niskayuna.
Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza will join the numerous restaurants and eateries at Stuyvesant Plaza, including Creo Restaurant, Peaches Café, TGI Fridays, and Chipotle Mexican Grill, among others.
