ALBANY, N.Y. – Stuyvesant Plaza will be hosting a variety of live music in the plaza starting Wednesday, July 19. The Plaza Summer Music Series will take place every Wednesday through September 13, weather permitting, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The new weekly concert series will bring jazz musicians to the Plaza for the inaugural event on July 19 and expand the music selection to contemporary, classic, pop, and country throughout the summer season. The performers, ranging from musicians to vocalist, will be playing at the far end of the Plaza near the Circles and Oliva! seating area.
The Plaza Summer Music Series is a free community event which allows guests to enjoy the great outdoors and live music, while browsing the numerous shops and eateries available at Stuyvesant Plaza.
“Summer is a great time to be outdoors in the Capital Region and we are creating this opportunity to offer a one-of-a-kind music experience while customers explore our many shops, boutiques and eateries,” said Stuyvesant Plaza Vice President of Real Estate Janet Kaplan. “This event will be a wonderful way for families to get outside and enjoy a warm summer night while shopping and dining at Stuyvesant Plaza.”
