Guests are invited to make your own bouquet and pose for a flower-filled photo opportunity with partial proceeds benefitting local nonprofit Mom Starts Here
GUILDERLAND, N.Y.– Stuyvesant Plaza is celebrating Capital Region moms with floral flair this Mother’s Day with its inaugural “Blooms For Mom” event. The Plaza, in partnership with Felthousen’s Florist, invites families and friends to make your own bouquets and pose for photos in front of a beautifully decorated flower-filled arch from Thursday, May 11 through Sunday, May 14 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Attendees can choose from a variety of colorful florals and foliage for their arrangements. 10% of each ticket sold will benefit Mom Starts Here, a local organization that supports families along their parenting journey.
“Whether you’re out enjoying a Mother’s Day brunch at one of our spectacular restaurants, doing some last-minute shopping or treating mom to a self-care day, we invite Plaza guests to enjoy these colorful pop-up activities,” said Stuyvesant Plaza General Manager Rachel Ferluge. “Take home a one-of-a-kind bouquet or snap that perfect family selfie, and know that you’re supporting your neighbors at Mom Starts Here.”
Attendees will also receive a 10% discount to BARE Blends, a plant-based and gluten-free smoothie shop just steps away from the event, taking place in front of Jean Paul Spa & Salon.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased on the Stuyvesant Plaza Eventbrite page found here. One ticket covers one bouquet. Photos at the flower-filled arch are free. All are welcome to attend.
