ALBANY, N.Y., – Stuyvesant Plaza merchants will bring their goods outdoors during the plaza’s first sidewalk sale of the season on Saturday, June 27. Stuyvesant Plaza will open at 9:30 a.m. to accommodate shoppers and will remain open until 6 p.m.
For more than 40 years, Stuyvesant Plaza has celebrated summer with two sidewalk sales, a tradition that remains a defining feature of the plaza. The second sidewalk sale will take place in August.
“Our summer sidewalk sales are among the busiest days of the year and have become a seasonal fixture for our shops, boutiques and eateries,” said Stuyvesant Plaza Vice President for Real Estate Janet Kaplan. “The sidewalk sale is a wonderful way for customers to enjoy a summer day and walk away with great finds and unique merchandise.”
Almost all of the retailers within the plaza take part in the sidewalk sale and will feature inventory that has been significantly reduced in price.
