“Making Your Personal Financial Plans Matter” session to be held at Woodlawn Commons on October 11
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Wesley Community today announced it will host a “Making Your Personal Financial Plans Matter” seminar featuring financial counselor Ray Martin of Crescent Hill Partners, LLC and Tara Anne Pleat, Esq. of Wilcenski & Pleat, PLLC at Woodlawn Commons at The Wesley Community in Saratoga Springs, NY on Tuesday, October 11. The seminar will begin at 6 p.m.
The session will include an interactive discussion about financial planning and will cover information on important documents, trusts, and wills. The seminar will also provide an overview of long-term care options, and other practical tips and guidance regarding issues that impact personal, financial, and estate plans. The event is free and hosted by The Wesley Foundation, the charitable arm of The Wesley Community.

Martin is the founder of Saratoga Springs financial services firm Crescent Hill Partners LLC and has appeared regularly on CBS Evening News, The Early Show, The Today Show, MSNBC, and the Oprah Winfrey Show, amongst others. He has provided financial counseling and advice to successful individuals, families, and senior executives of Fortune 500 companies for 25 years. Martin has experience in financial planning, taxes, insurance, and benefit and compensation plans.
Pleat practices in the areas of special needs estate planning and administration, traditional estate planning and administration, long-term care planning, and elder law at Wilcenski & Pleat, PLLC. She is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Eastern New York, Inc. and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. In March 2016, Pleat was elected to Fellowship in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. Pleat currently serves as Secretary of the Elder Law and Special Needs Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. She is also an Adjunct Professor at Albany Law School, where she teaches a course on estate and financial planning for the elderly and individuals with special needs.
